The World of Indiana Jones (West End Games)

I recently came across an old out of print RPG called the World of Indiana Jones from West End Games. I have been picking used copies of materials on eBay, Amazon etc. I have been playing D&D 5e for a while and the idea of playing a pulp RPG seems cool.

Has anyone played this or is still playing it? I am thinking about trying to get a group together to play. Any tips would be appreciated. I am also trying to find the book Indiana Jones Adventures from this RPG that converts it to D6 rules and supposedly makes it easier to play. It has been very hard to find.

Thanks

I'm not sure how much it would help, but you can get d6 Adventure (perfect for Indiana Jones) for free on DrivethruRPG. It's one of the three presentations of WEG's latest edition of d6, so it should be the most refined version of the rules. It doesn't have any rules for system conversion in it, but it would at least show you what the end result would look like.

Have you looked on Amazon?

I just did a general search for it & the copy on Amazon was the 1st link. There were other links.
Unless by "hard to find" you really meant "cheap"....

Sword of Spirit thanks for you post. I will look at the D6 rules per your suggestion. CCS....thank you for searching for me. There are two versions of the Indiana Jones games. The first was by TSR. These are widely available for cheap on Amazon, EBay. This system uses a very simple rule set and is limited from what I have read. The second was by West End Games. They used a completely different rule set. The first was Masterbook and then they converted to D6. What makes this confusing is that both companies made a book titled The Adventures of Indiana Jones. The TSR version goes for about $20. The few West End Games versions that I can find start at $150. Should you find the West End Games version for a more reasonable price please let me know. I have looked on eBay, Amazon and a variety of independent sellers. Thank you for your help.
