No. They're three separate movies with with the same actors/director. A zombie movie, a buddy cop movie, and an alien invasion movie.

The were so many laugh out loud moments, and a lot came from the musical references (I particularly liked Join our Club by Saint Etienne). To me it is Shaun of the Dead, The World's End and then Hot Fuzz.

Funniest film I have seen in ages.

[sblock]Gary King is a dick, no doubt, but he is kind of like Peter Pan, if everyone grew up around him, but he still wanted adventures, so in the end you kind of feel a little sorry for him. Still a massive tool though, but you can see why the others stuck with him.

The script was brilliant... "First off I didn't sleep with them, and second how did you find out?", "Don't worry about me I always land on my feet.", "King Gay"

After Liz dumps Shaun, Ed says "we'll have a bloody mary (girl in garden), bite at the kings head (Phillip is bitten) couple (David and Di) at the little Princess (Liz), and stagger (pretending to be zombies) to the bar for shots (shooting zombies in the pub)."
