Thus he is often consulted for his wisdom and to make judgements

I like the idea of strange leaves and of his acorns and wood being able to affect others (and him likewise feeling the pain of parts of his wood being cut or burned). Perhaps eating his nuts allows him to temporarily control anothers mind?

I didn't know about Twigblights until today but have checked this thread to learn more and I think they will definately get some use

The other thing I like is the Aspen-like nature of Twigblights, I think it would be interesting if the PC-Tree was able to extend its roots and sprout new saplings through which it might be able to gather information.

a wood woad with the equivlent of an animal companion: twig blights!!
