Thieves Campaign

Greetings All.

My friends and I have started up a thieves campaign which we are all planning on taking turns GMing. It is going to be my turn to run things soon, and I am having trouble coming up with interesting ideas.

I was wondering if anyone has played in a similar campaign and had some insight to help me brainstorm. I don't want this to turn into the type of campaign where the PCs are told to acomplish X and the return. Any input would be appreciated.
