Things To Do With Stewardesses

Yeah, that is a shame. I recall being pretty stoked for that.

Is it dead?

Last I heard from them it's on the back burner. They're a very small company, and next year they are releasing a new version of CHILL (non d20), so I think they might be tied up with that now.

Edit: Sorry for the threadjack, I'll stop now.

It's being released in February through Wingnut Games.

Note: Is it appropriate to use the word "hijack" in a thread about stewardesses?

Weird that I hadn't thought of Spycraft but it does seem kinda obvious. Especially for the gadget situation what a game like this should be prime for. Yeah, Spycraft at least for gadgets.

I think the elements I want are:
  • Kung-Fu Action
  • Coolness (like actually having a Cool rating or a mechanic of some kind)
  • Gadgets
  • Charm (I think Diplomacy and Bluff will get boosts somehow)
  • Weird Voodoo Creepiness
Obviously we'll have things like Knowledge (hipster) and so on. It also has to be pretty straightforward -- these aren't super-experienced players and so a host of feats and special abilities they have to remember to activate won't be as much fun for them as a more loosey-goosey game where they can just be creative with the situation and we can worry about the rules AFTER inspiration strikes.

Thanks for the notions, folks! Keep 'em coming!

I don't know, is it appropriate to call them stewardesses in the 21st century when they've been flight attendants since the late 1970s?

Somehow, I have a feeling these particular stewardesses/flight attendants could hold their own though. :)

I don't have it in front of me, but that d20 Mini-game in Dungeon where you play the rockstars might have some stealable mechanics (I seem to remember a 'Coolness' stat or mechanic of some kind). The game was kinda cheesy, but a novel use for the system. You might have a kitschy faux-combat scenario (kinda like the 'walk-off' in Zoolander) based on 'cool'.

Sounds like a groovy concept, either way. I wish I knew gamer grrrls; this sounds fun.

Hey... If you are going to be using Spycraft, pick up the 60's Decade Book. Lots of groovy stuff to add in to your game.

The Bloodstain Resistant feat, for example, gives the agent a bonus to Defense based on the fashion of their clothes. Go-go boots and a miniskirt might give you +1 to Defense, while a form-fitting evening gown would give you +2.

Classes??

Would you be looking for classes appropiate to the scene/genre?

How about Stewardess
Secret Agent
Model/Fashion
Daredevil/Biker chick
Escort/Lady of the evening?
maybe like a buisness lady/Playgirl?

You could have a new stat Coolness that allow the character to use in place of Charisma? Or just rename Charisma into Coolness?
