things you wished you'd Asked Wizards

So I was flipping through the magic items in the DMG tonight and was reminded of some of the Ask Wizards questions from the April Fools feature (the one with "What's the break DC of a planet?"). Here's the relevant item:

Regeneration: This white gold ring continually allows a living wearer to heal 1 point of damage per level every hour rather than every day. (This ability cannot be aided by the Heal skill.) Nonlethal damage heals at a rate of 1 point of damage per level every 5 minutes. If the wearer loses a limb, an organ, or any other body part while wearing this ring, the ring regenerates it as the spell. In either case, only damage taken while wearing the ring is regenerated.

Strong conjuration; CL 15th; Forge Ring, regenerate; Price 90,000 gp.

That's my bolding. My question is, what happens if the hand (or other limb) wearing the ring gets cut off?

Do you have any other odd questions like that?

I'd assume that if the arm/hand/limb is reattached, it would begin to regrow, but the body itself wouldn't have any regenerative capabilities while the limb was detached.

My question is: Why isn't there a non-Monster feat to increase your natural Damage Reduction multiple times? Improved Resilience is Warforged Only, and you can only take it once. What about us Warlocks?

I want to know what happens if a psion's psicrystal is destroyed. Can he or she make another one? The 3.5 rules are silent on this rather important matter.

Why are tanar'ri immune to electricity?

How does a nightmare that lacks fire resistance or immunity manage to stay alive when its hooves are constantly on fire? Does it hurt?

The whole person regrows attached to the hand. The Ring of Regeneration is in fact a cheap cloning device.

Because of this, some nations have banned the use of Rings of Regeneration as amoral.

Other nations have implemented laws where either the original bearer or the newly grown person must be killed.

There are reports of a small island nation called Nonadigitas where the entire population is made up of clones of one person.

If you have a very high Con, anyone can take a feat for DR/-. Warlocks, however, are out of luck, AFAIK.

They can take Fey Skin from Complete Mage, which if they keep taking fey feats gives them stacking DR with their class ability (plus more stuff), at least up to a point (when you run out of fey feats).

Now, this is an answer I like!
