An avid fan of superhero comics and gaming, I am currently running a fun and quite butt-kicking Mutants & Masterminds game. Never one to ignore unusual and/or alternative game systems or ideas, I'mk wondering if anyone has tried any such approaches to comic book gaming recently.

I was very curious about a game called Comix or Comix: The RPG which was showcased at GenCon and mentioned in the reviews of an issue of KoDT last year. Unfortunately the game seems to have vaporized even before fully forming as the companies website appears non-existant.

Any ideas, info or recommendations?

Have you posted at Comic sites to see if anyone around there knows? Or on the Gencon boards?

No, not yet...I always post gaming related inqueries here first. Unfortunately this one seems to be a bit of a stumper, eh? Over 125 views and one response. Hmm...my guess is that people generally don't bother looking for something new and different when Mutants & Masterminds is so awesome. Certainly understandable but I was hoping someone at there had tried an non-D20, non-standard approach to the genre.

It's easy to miss one thread with a topic that's unusual. Maybe it just needs to be seen on a Thursday morning on the front page of the General forum for someone with the right credentials to respond but I am stumped as to how to make that happen.
