UPCOMING FEATURED CHATS FROM AROUND THE NET
There is life beyond thursday night for the devoted chatters among us. A few
of the interesting chat events coming in the weeks ahead are:

Jim Butler (Former TSR/WotC guy, now with Bastion Press)
Wed July 10th, 9 PM EST (these chats usually last 1 to 2 hours)
http://www.d20reviews.com/chat.htm
IRC: chat.psionics.net port 6667 channel: #dnd3e (with unmoderated
commentary in #peanutgallery)

Mortality Radio Shoutcast
Every other Friday (July 5th is the next one) at 8 PM EST Mortality.net
hosts a unique chat/webcast hybrid that is worth checking out. The host,
Adlon, features industry celebrity interviews and live call-ins from the
audience in a fun, freewheeling atmosphere (though, like the Greytalk weekly
chat, you might want to put the kiddies to bed first, adult language and
topics happen now and then). You'll
need an IRC client (like mIRC) to participate, and a audio program, such as
winamp, capable of streaming mp3 audio from the net.
IRC: irc.mortality.net port 6667 channel: #mortality
Once you log into the chat, they'll give you the details on connecting your
audio program to the streaming media.

Wizards of the Coast chatrooms
WotC's chat calendar is down currently, if anyone knows of upcoming chat
events there that would interest the Greyhawk community, please let me know
so I can pass the information along.
web chat (requires a small downloadable plugin for your web browser)

Greytalk Weekly Chat
As usual, the Weekly Greytalk chat continues every thursday night at 8 PM
EST until dawn (roughly, whenever we call it a night) Come early or come
late, there's plenty of Greyhawk discussion with some of the who's who of
the Greyhawk Community, as well as friendly banter and some risque humor.
Put the kids to bed, and if you're not an old fart like some of us regulars
there, check with your parents before logging in.
Every thursday night at 8 PM EST

GOOGLEHAWK!
A new feature for This Week In Greyhawk Fandom, Googlehawk spotlights an interesting Greyhawk resource from around the internet. I simply enter 'greyhawk' into Google.com's search engine, and randomly pick an interesting result to share.

This week it's the Codex of Greyhawk. Produced by long time Greyhawk fans Kent Matthewson, Keven Murphy and Joe Katzman, the codex is an invaluable resource for the Greyhawk community. articles on the geography, history, religions and nations of the Flanaess are accompanied by a large collection of maps, as well as monsters and new magic. This site is mainly an archive now, not updated much, but it still high on the list of must visit sites related to the setting. You can visit the Codex of Greyhawk at:
http://www.greyhawk-codex.com/

Well, that's all for this week. See you next thursday with another helping
of Greyhaw from around the net.
