Hmm, Lions for Lambs kinda bombed, didn't? I had no interest in this one, but I figured there was still a market for political/military thrillers. Too many, too close together perhaps?

Looks like Bee Movie might have trouble meeting its budget strictly from its initial theatre run. It seems to be dropping off too fast. Guess it depends how big the blockbusters are that come out in the next month.

Didn't the Bee movie actually do better this week? Wasn't American Gangster #1 last week?

And Lions for Lambs was pretty blasted in the reviews too.

I thought Bee movie looked kinda creepy myself. Still, as long as no more kiddie/family movies come out, it should do okay.

Is Beowulf coming out this week? I'm curious how that will do. I can't decide from the trailers if it looks decent or spectacularly bad.

American Ganster was number 1 last week and drop this week but BEE only beat it out by a million, very close when you see that BEE was on 800 more screens.

Beowulf was a lot of fun. They changed a lot from the myth, and that bothered me a little, but I still enjoyed it a good bit.
