This Weekend @ The Boxoffice: 2008.Apr.07

Hand of Evil

Epic
21 holds off Leatherheads for the number one stop, 10,000 BC still in the top 10. Overall a poor showing, when compared to same period from the last few years, 2008 is still running ahead better that 2007 but the gap is closing, putting a lot of stock in summer releases.

I actually did not expect 10KBC to recover most of its budget at the box office, yet it has done surprisingly well. I hope this encourages film makers to risk taking chances on more movies of its kind.

I've seen 10,000 B.C. I need a prequel darn it (especially their chronology will be all wrong with a sequel).

I really have no desire to see the rest of the list. I may rent "21" at some point, though. The summer may be better. I'm looking forward to Prince Caspian and the Dark Knight.

I'm not a big Batman fan, as a matter of fact I've never seen any of the other Batman films on the silver screen, but since Anthony Michael Hall is in Dark Knight, I'm gonna give it a chance.

 Thats weird, its not doing that for me.

He may be set up at a lower resolution than you - lots of folks still surf at 800x600. I'm at 1024x768 and its not affecting my screen, but it is a little on the large side.
