She may not do it on Heroes but she does okay on the big screen and with that, we have the start to summer blockbusters!

They were able to have a lot of showings per day.
I must be getting old. I had never heard of either of the top two movies until I saw them on the Top 10 at the Box Office lists (17 Again being on top last week). None of the media I am exposed to advertised them in any way, yet they are obviously big enough with the young'uns to be #1 in the nation.
OTOH, Fighting and The Soloist appear (from the previews) to be two of the most generic movies ever made, and I'm pretty sure Earth is just a re-hash of a lot of the footage from BBC documentaries. So there is always hope that the reason these two are rated so high isn't that they're so popular, it's that everything else available was so bad.

The big question is how much the swine flu will impact the boxoffice? I don't see much this week but as time goes on...
Don't think so, nor Star Trek, but 3 weeks out, IF this get worse, Angels and Demons, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, and Terminator Salvation, could take a hit.A wolverine could be killed by a pig.

With wolverine I think the problem will be that the pen is mightier than the claw.
