On Attack of the show today they said Blizzard helped them with the episode.

I got the impression that was exactly the case. I wouldn't be surprised to learn those Blizzard employees in the episode were South Park-ized versions of actual Blizzard employees.

And honestly, why wouldn't Blizzard help with it? I'm sure a lot of them are probably fans of South Park anyway, and it's free publicity. Not to mention it's fun to poke a little fun at the whole mmorpg genre.

Man, Youtube can't be far from getting sued out of existence.

Oh well, I'll enjoy it while it's here.

And yes, this is a great episode. Not just funny, but the story was laid out perfectly. In the opening sequence, I asked myself how I could quit a game that looked that great. By the end of the episode I was reminded painfully of why: the game revolves around endless repitition and by-the-numbers tactics. Tabletop RPG's can too, of course, but that's got more to do with the players than the limitations of the game.

Yeah I'm not a mark cuban fan but he was right about that. Buying google is an open invitation to law suits. the only reason they probably werent sued initially was because they didnt have much money.

HOnestly, with episodes that come on 10 times a week, give the advertisers some money and watch it on tv or get tivo.

Hillarious episode none the less. and so true. Actually the episode pointed at a reason why i gave it up. There are far too many idiot players online. I was waiting for another player like the evil guy to come on at the end, because thats what happens. The most fun I had with an mmorpg was beta testing final fantasy xi. THere were only 500 people on hte server and it was a real rich and managable envrioment and world. then once the release, it was rediculous. I found myself in parties with a bunch of kids whom didnt know RPGs for nothing.
