Three free adventures: The Staff of Suha Cycle

Those of you who have been around for a while may remember seeing these adventures when I originally wrote them. But now, inspired by a friend on the other side of the country who said he was planning to run these adventures for his group soon, I finally put all three adventures in a single place.

The Staff of Suha Cycle is a set of three adventures for heroic-tier D&D 4th Edition characters. Each of the three is designed to play in a single session of about four hours or so.

The Stolen Staff is a fairly straightforward dungeon delve, with some options for clever players to get into the dungeon in different ways.

Tallinn's Tower is somewhat inspired by the experience of characters is Piers Anthony's Xanth series in trying to get in to see the Magician Humphrey. Characters must navigate a tricky tower in order to speak with a reclusive wizardess. And it has poetry!

Descent Into Darkness is exactly what it says on the tin. It features my favorite puzzle that I've designed so far, the Room of Runes, as well as an over-the-top final encounter area.

Anyway, these adventures are completely free to download, so have at it.
You can download the PDF directly at this link, or read more about the adventures here.

I have used bits and pieces from these adventures before. They are quite good.

Maybe you should have added a link to your Map Archive where people interested can find the Maps for these Adventures (for use in Maptools for example)

I'm glad you found them to be useful! And thanks for adding the link to my Map Archive. The maps are in the adventures themselves, but it's nice to be able to browse through them in the archive, I agree.

I followed your link to the details about the three adventures. I normally use NoScript and AdBlock with Firefox so when I opened your link, I saw at the top of the page quite a big blurb on Cialis and the like. It's contained in a class called HiddenDiv at the top just below the Body tag in the source.

Argh - thank you for letting me know. This happened before, and I took all sorts of steps to fix the problem, but it looks like it's back. Stupid spam link hacks...

Edit: It's fixed now (again). Grumble grumble...
