Throwing it all together!

Hi-
I'm working on my home brew(this world is as big as jupiter) so I bought all kinds of crap, the SWRPG, d20 Silver age Sentinals, d20 CoC, FRCS and I'm racking my brains out trying to figure out what to pick and choose, finally I just said to myself, what the hell, lets throw it all together and see what happens.
So now how am I gonna pull this waste of time off? Glad you asked, you see, Neo-Orion(My campaign world) is located on the fringes of the Empire and is considered off limits due to some kind of technological dampining field, some tech will work but is very unreliable, only Morlock tech will work 75% of the time due to their crap being old and corroded.
Now I can have super bad guys, or stranded Dark side jedi knights or a chosen of hastur.
Give all the players sanity points and off we go to the Temple of Elemental evil.

Scott, I seem to recall a fantasy novel set on a world as big as Jupiter. I think the plot involved an obelisk that was about to fall into an ocean and create a tidal wave.

You might also want to pick up Larry Niven's Ringworld for a few ideas of how different 'worlds' might interact.

Also, a key question is how did people get to this world? Were they there for untold generations, or gathered from other worlds. If the later, when did this happen and why? (Maybe someone is trying to test the various factions to determine which are the toughest, the most intelligent, etc.)

If the world was set up as a Dyson Sphere, the gravity would not be a huge problem.
