Thunderstone rules

Hi,

Has anyone changed the duration of the Thunderstone rules for how long someone remains deafened?

I notice that in computer games ie Neverwinter Nught 2, that the duriation for the deafness is 5 round and not 1 hour as it is in Pen and Paper Dnd 3.5

For 30gp and easy to hit something and also a fort save of 15 (normally against a mage)
it can be pretty much a combat swinger.

1 hour seems to long, i was thinking about dropping the price to say 15gp and only having
it last for say 5 rounds or 2d4 rounds..maybe the save DC could go up slightly..what do people think?
