I just thought it was the rule to read posts before responding, and that replyng to a post in ignorance would be considered rude. Sorry for any missteps in protocol. I didn't know about the "house rules" rule which is, obviously, considered rude.

Boy, sorry about the frustration earlier, folks. Finally, a source that provides some clarification. Now I have to find out who Pithica is, and then I'll build my ruling around this new information (very new, in fact).

In a perfect world. SolitonMan's would have been the second post (and Pithica would have been clearer on contingency's area of effect... contingency has no area of effect, and "Whenever someone casts disjunction within 40' of me" assumes an area of effect, making me second guess Pithica's post already -- recent edit). Thanks, everyone!

I wasn't implying that. It's clear that at least one person who responded to me responded in ignorance in an attempt to provoke me, which I thought would have been something worthy of a warning. I apologize again for stepping on any toes.

We can agree to disagree, but I'm not about to disagree with the 3.5 PHB.
