Oh man! I found this on the site, is this Morrus and Gary? It provoked the question "If they faced off, who would win the encounter?"

Lets work on the stats, this is what I think...

Gary Morrus
Str 15 13
Dex 11 15
Con 14 12
Int 17 15
Wis 7 9
Char 11 9

I don't know about spells and skills. Morrus doesn't look like a magic user but Gary does have a fine wizards beard. I also think Morrus would have access to a vorpal weapon but Gygax would hold the defense spell. Also, I bet Gary has got experience in windmilling and but the young pretender looks ready to take the crown.

Let the fun and the adventure begin!

And anyway, GG would have to win...he has more backup than Elminster! The sheer number of NPC's he can summon to his side would frankly outrank anything Morrus could muster, despite 10000 ENWorld members.

I mean seriously, how many of us would it take to equal, say, Mordekainen?

Gygax has got a firm handshake and is sincere, but his CHAR doesn't match Morrus. Morrus invited be back to the UK as well as signing one of his publicatiions (but apparently it's not). What a nice guy. Gary Gygax is the birth-creator of this.

In that picture Morrus reminds me very much of Rincewind from the Discworld novels, so I will play out a fight between Mordenkainen and Rincewind.

Did I mention the dream I had a few nights ago. I was in Japan, going to Mardi Gras, and a group of my friends were dressed up as the Final Fantasy X cast. I was browsing at a vendor stall in the street, which was selling novelty forks, when I saw Russ also shopping at the same stall. He waved, and I said hi, and that's about all I remember. Oh, and one of the forks on sale was like a Swiss army fork. It folded out into three different forks.
