time for happy fun

Did I mention the dream I had a few nights ago. I was in Japan, going to Mardi Gras, and a group of my friends were dressed up as the Final Fantasy X cast. I was browsing at a vendor stall in the street, which was selling novelty forks, when I saw Russ also shopping at the same stall. He waved, and I said hi, and that's about all I remember. Oh, and one of the forks on sale was like a Swiss army fork. It folded out into three different forks.

More interesting than the dream I had a few nights ago, where Monte Cook was operating my local bento (take-out lunch) shop and me and my friends were helping him move his stuff into a truck to take it to his new seaside home so he could go fishing there. :D

my money would be on Gary - he would use his create instant artifact ability to create a stone of Morrus slaying that is at a +100 to hit and a +900 damage against morrus.

How do I get suckered into this sort of thing?!

Well...heh!

Maybe I can fudge up some rules that enable me to create my own stats. Let's see... Okay I have them:

1) As the Old Fart who started the ball rolling and thus enabled such nonsense, Gary is allowed to have a base of 20 for all stats, with a modifier of d4. A 1 indicates a minus os that number from the 20 base, while 2 or three is an addition to the 20. If a 4 results, roll d8 instead, with a 1 or a 2 being a minus, but all other numbers adding to the 20 base.

2) Anyone daring to contest with Gary has their stats based on the roll of 5d4, but they can arrange the scores in each stat as they choose.

3) Gary wins no matter what.

4) The loser buys the drinks after the match.

Now that seems fair to me!

:D
