Time to change the supplement-driven business model for D&D (and other RPGs)?

Can't remember it's name, but there is a small shop in Wellington that sells Magic and comics. No RPGs to speak of though. You can buy old ones in second hand book shops, but Wargame Supplies was the last game shop that shut down last year. It cited the expense of importing games - so Amazon was a factor.

Yeah RPGs have always been over priced in NZ. $44 for a book costing $20 in the US and in some cases we were paying triple the price and they never got cheaper even when the exchange rate was good.
