where we deck out the dungeons
for a piece of the old' orc & pie
The giant spiders have hung from the top of their lairs
in the hopes that tasty haflings soon would be there
The goblins were sleeping, all snug in their beds
while no notion of ambushing adventurers popped in their heads
But there was an Ogre, who wasn't so lax
Awaiting the party, with his high-upraised axe!
And if the party thought that weren't enough
The DM added 3d6 bugbears-- so tough!
And as these foes were about to attack, Lo! what should appear?
A dual-wielding knight on his charger (using his teeth to steer)
And warriors and wizards, embark from editions new and old
New stories, new epics will continue to be told
And it is then that we, so often divided up in our camps
took the time to realize that we're all our own hobbies' Champs!
And even 4e Fanboys and Grognards most gruff
Can come together by the love of killing things
...and taking their stuff
