I hope the folks who run DF can achieve their goals. If I could offer any advice, it would be to make sure you run things the way you want them to be. Express your ideal vision of what the atmosphere and discussion should be like, but don't bog yourself down with too many rules. Recruit volunteers who share your vision and are positive contributors to be your eyes and ears (as moderators or in other positions).

I wish your community all the luck in the world. There's nothing like being part of a group of like-minded people who share your hobbies and other interests.

If you don't hate 3E, you don't belong there.

But I totally do hate 3E! (and everything that came after it.) Why won't they email me so I can activate my account? Am I just really impatient after only two days? Am I living in the past responding to this thread?
