I found Invasion to be rather wretched and boring - I found the characters to be wholly unlikeable (yes, even moreso than Surface), and am not intrigued by the aliens or the plot (so far). It'll unlikely survive this season's viewing schedule for me. (But, who knows? Everything has only started, and a show taking a 180 is entirely possible - but there are a lot of shows already, and something's gotta give...)

this one was ok. better than surface. potential equal to threshold.

while big-3 network tv is getting better, its still not quite there yet.

In a thread set up to discuss an episode of any show I immediately expect and assume spoilers. Which is why I didn't look at this thread until after I watched it.

I'm intrigued so far. Out of the shows mentioned previously (and I'll include Supernatural too) this one has garnered the most interest from me. I think it's the body snatcher effect that is chilling. Oh, and I think they just told the actor taht plays Dave to channel Jack Black.

And dangit! What with a whole bunch of annoying crud happening yesterday, I forgot to set the Tivo to record this! And they aren't replaying it! Shards!

ABC is replaying the first and second episodes of Invasion on Sat, Oct 1. I forgot to set my Tivo to tape it as well.

Hm. When I looked for upcoming episodes, my TiVo didn't see this. I'll double check when I get home tonight...

And if I forget to double check, it may well pick 'em up anyway, as I set a season pass once I noticed my error. I love TiVo

I was pretty underwhelmed by the show. I'll give it a couple more watches but it better pick up. Plus, what is Shaun Cassidy's problem with Sherriffs?

Out of the Lost clones (Threshold, Invasion, Surface) I think I like this one the most. It easily has the best characters and most genuine chilling moments (one or two is good enough for me). Mind you, they aren't great characters or huge chills but they were there which is more than I can say for Threshold & Surface.

I'm about to watch the second ep of Threshold right now and I really hope it entertains me more than the pilot...
