D&D 3E/3.5 TOEE 1-4 3.5 Conversion XP awards question

I'm running the TOEE 3.5 conversion I found here, but I'm unsure if I should be awarding XP calculated based on the CR given in the conversion or not. I would think so, but that gives my party of four level 2s 1500 XP each for killing one large (CR2) and three small (CR1) giant frogs. This is my first campaign I have DMed, I just want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong and leveling them too fast. Thanks for the assistance!

Just as a further note, the original campaign would award about 124 XP for the same encounter, which definitely seems too low. So I'm probably worried about nothing. :-\

I get 375xp for that setup. Treasure value is 1457, maybe you confused the two?
