What does it fix and do you know if it conflicts with the Council of 8 patch?

Details about fixes here, I found out about it at Gamespot and then went searching the official site for, not surprisingly they didn't mention it. You'll likely have to check the Council of 8 site to find out, give them a couple ofdays to find out if they haven't said anything yet.

Mind you I only just picked up the game and never got the unofficial patch so can't say for myself.

Huh, I didn't get any. I'm using Netscape 7.x on Win98.

If you want to search for yourself check the official Atari site or http://www.atarisupport.com/

You could also try Gamespot, which has it up for download, though you have to be a member of some sort (not sure if it's free or not). It can be found here.

Finally you can also look around for other sites that have it.

That has nothing to do with the link.. you probably have adware on your computer.

I notice the readme.txt talks only about D&D rules-type modifications. Nothing about crashes and lockups (which I had many of in the late game). Hmmm...
