* The Dwarf Lords under Crown Prince Ironmountain have been waging a bloody war with the drow in the north, in the Netherdeep. Casualties have been high on both sides, but it has not broken off hostilities, as the drow fight to push the encroaching Dwarf Lords from their lands. Many believe this is the start to a long and drawn out conflict, that may take decades to fully end.
* Rumors of a major movement of Black Desert Elves have made Imperial soldiers nervous of a massive Black Desert invasion led by the barbaric elves. There numbers are estimated to be in the thousands, though an accurate count is impossible as they are nomadic by nature and survive in the harsh Black Desert in places most fear to tread…
* Many villages across the South, report that humanoid activity is on the rise, and rumors of a humanoid army building in the south circulate through taverns, households, and from traveler to traveler… the truth has yet to be seen, but the rumor persists.
* A wandering healer claiming to be the daughter of Pelor, has set up outside of a remote village administering to the poor, and has shown miraculous powers in healing, though she has also caused uproar throughout the clergy of Pelor.
