I haven't been able to find any general discussion on the Tomb of Nine Gods traps.

Does that mean that they are generally straightforward to run, with minimal "gotchas" for the DM to look out for?

On topic, a thread:

Haven’t run the Tomb of Nine Gods yet, but my read was there were two problematic traps: the mirror “alternate dimension” Tomb (on Gears of Hate level IIRC) & Wongo’s Tomb which can deal a ton of force damage seemingly arbitrarily. For the former, I plan to explicitly send PCs into Ethereal & afford them an opportunity to interact with Sewn Sisters (rather than making it a time sink). For the latter, I intend to foreshadow more transparently to the players (rather than leaving it as a guessing game how to bypass/mitigate damage from onyx box).
