Highlights for me, the unique Dukes of Hell and servants to the various Demon Princes. Nice dragons, pretty decent assortment of undead. Just wish they'd made Demon Knight a Template...

Sorry Alaric. But hey, perhaps it will come to you tonight? Review so far, a SOLID 4 out of 5. Mechanics are great, the artwork very good, the feel truly creepy. Oh and it being COMPLETELY OGL...very sharp!

I just picked up Tome of Horrors and d20 Modern... whew.. 75 bucks. So far it looks great!

I would have skipped d20 modern in favor of Book of the Righteous. But yeah Ren, this book is WORTH the money you spend believe me.

Just picked it up at the game store a couple of hours ago on my lunch break. I can't quite bring myself to bring it in to the office to read, unfortunately - unlike browsing the internet, there's no way to make it look like I'm working as I flip through a book full of imaginary monsters. Plus, I've got my weekly game right after work, so I won't be able to give it a good reading until later tonight. Oh, the suspense...I did give it a really quick flipthrough, anyway, and I'm pleased with the art at first glance. Plus, seeing the flumph did my old heart good. I'm itching with anticipation.

figures this would come out now after I just dropped over $240 bucks about 3 weeks ago and the game budget is tapped out.
I look forward to getting it though esp. for the undead. you can never have too neny MINIONS.

Yes Nightfall, but I already had Book of the Righteous d20 Modern looks pretty good as well. For some reason I don't like the whole classification of Tough and Smart Heroes.. but that is easy to get past.

After my first look through Tome of Horrors, all I can say is that I am very impressed. This book has tons of great monsters in it. They all seem very well thought out and assigned proper CRs.

Between Monster Manual I -II, Creature Collection I - II, Monsters of Faerun and Tome of Horrors, I should be able to scare the crap out of my players!
