too many monsters in the world?

IMHO Meeting up with a monster is supposed to be a Big Deal. And when monsters are encountered everywhere you go, it's like running into a deer on a nature hike.

Nice to see, but there supposed to be there.

Be aware that some of us like that. I like the notion that, you step out of highly patrolled areas, you are in Serious Danger. That threats lurk at every turn, even in the cities. That

Otherwise, what's the point of heroes? The Greek heroes fought monsters all the time.

Although most of my campaigns are very talking, less fighting games. So I ACHE for a good "Kick in the door and fight the monsters" campaign.
