I have paged back through the last 10 pages of posts and couldn't find an answer on something.

Does anyone know how the hand to hand damage is suppose to work for a Lizardman monk 5?

Is his claws (1d4) scaled up weapons from humans fists (1d3). Or do they count as non monk weapons that cannot be used in hand to hand?

a d4 is close enough to a d3 that I'd keep it the same as the normal monks, or add +1 so at first level he would do 1d6+1 +str bonus

The claw attacks are natural weapons, not unarmed strikes.

Remember that the monk's unarmed strikes can be from hands, feet, headbutts, elbows, knees, etc. So your lizardfolk monk 5 should get the normal monk damage for his size, which is 1d8.

So he can either use a combination of claws, bite, and weapons, or his monk unarmed attacks.
