D&D General Top 3-5 articles you would recommend for a new DM

I had never read the Angry GM before, and I gotta say that guy is awesome. My kinda sense of humor, my kinda sensibility on balancing story vs. mechanics, my kinda writing style, and a whole heap of careful thinking about this stuff that is new to me. Dude knows his business for sure.

Tons of great suggestions already.

My #1 recommendation would be to watch a specific WebDM video called When to Roll Dice – it's very good, and the sort of thing I had to learn the hard way through years of GMing. I feel like watching that video (and applying it) can help cut off a lot of that unnecessary hard self-learning. It is 40:00 long, but it's a great one.
They had me at "The Gambler"

Yeah. He's educational and entertaining.

I came here to mention several articles and blogs which have all already been mentioned: Angry GM; Sly Flourish; Matt Colville; Three Clue Rule; PowerScoreRPG Blog.

The fact that they've already been recommended makes me proud of this site and its posters. Good work, y'all! (y)
