American Gods was very good and I like Gaiman's writing style. Name of the Wind was also very fun and I'm going to be reading the sequel that just came out. I'm not as big on Martin as a lot of people are. Mistborn was not as good as everyone I heard talk about it say so I was disappointed with it. And Perdido Street Station I just couldn't get into.


I am disappointed that nothing by Jack McDevvit is on there. He just might not be popular enough but for science fiction in the past decade he's been one of my favorites.
 



I read 2, 5, 7, and 8.

Of those, Anathem made me think the most...and Strange & Norrell was a damned impressive debut novel.
 

I've read 2, 3, 6, 7, and 10. 1, 8, and 9 are on my bookshelf awaiting reading. I may need to add 4 and 5 to that list.
 

only hear of #7. And I don't read him. Never ever hear of or be recommend to read the others.
Now if they listed best selling that would be different.
