touch attack question

Was playing at Chicago's Gameday. One ruling came up which I'm fairly certain was a house rule, but I want to be sure.

Do enhancement bonuses to armor impact touch-attack ACs? As I was playing a warlock (king of the ranged touch attack) this became significant. (although I think it only caused me to miss once).

No, they do not.

An Enhancement bonus of +1 on your chain shirt gives it an armor bonus to AC of +5.

You ignore armor bonuses when making touch attacks.

Therefore, you ignore enhancements to armor bonuses when making touch attacks.

Page 308 in the 3.5 PHB, under Enchancement Bonuses... last sentance:

Since enchancement bonuses to armor or natural armor effectively increase the armor or natural armor's bonus to AC, they don't apply against touch attacks.

Touch AC is 10+dex+any deflection bonus

It negates any physical armor and magical enhancements to it.

Other types can add to touch as well, e.g. Insight, Luck, Sacred, etc.

Technically the rule is when subject to a touch attack your AC doesn't include armor bonus, shield bonus, or natural armor bonus.
