Touch Attacks & AOO

ok heres the situation.
My cleric casts inflict wounds . Moves up to a red dragon and fails with the touch attack roll(i rolled a 2). The dragon takes a pretty big bite out of me. So next round I switch to full defence(Cleric has combat expertise, so AC is quiet high) DM decides the dragon will move and attack the ranger, who's been shooting arrows at it. The movement provoaks an AOO.
Which brings me to my questions.
1.The inflict wounds spell is still active. Can i use that as my AOO and make a touch attack?
2. Do touch attacks count as unarmed attacks and provoak AOO unless you have improved unarmed attack feat?
3.If I could use the inflict wounds and the dragon does get a AOO, would the full defence bonuses to ac, and penalties to hit be active?

Note: You cannot use Combat Expertise with Total Defense, since you have to perform an attack action in order to utilize Combat Expertise. You could make a defensive touch attack with Combat Expertise, however.

1. The inflict wounds spell is still active. Can i use that as my AOO and make a touch attack?

Yes, since you are considered armed (see below), when you wield a touch spell.

2. Do touch attacks count as unarmed attacks and provoak AOO unless you have improved unarmed attack feat?

No. They count as armed.

Touch Spells in Combat
Many spells have a range of touch. To use these spells, you cast the spell and then touch the subject, either in the same round or any time later. In the same round that you cast the spell, you may also touch (or attempt to touch) the target. You may take your move before casting the spell, after touching the target, or between casting the spell and touching the target. You can automatically touch one friend or use the spell on yourself, but to touch an opponent, you must succeed on an attack roll.

Touch Attacks
Touching an opponent with a touch spell is considered to be an armed attack and therefore does not provoke attacks of opportunity. However, the act of casting a spell does provoke an attack of opportunity. Touch attacks come in two types: melee touch attacks and ranged touch attacks. You can score critical hits with either type of attack. Your opponent’s AC against a touch attack does not include any armor bonus, shield bonus, or natural armor bonus. His size modifier, Dexterity modifier, and deflection bonus (if any) all apply normally.

3. If I could use the inflict wounds and the dragon does get a AOO, would the full defence bonuses to ac, and penalties to hit be active?

If it would be that way, then yes, they would be active. These bonuses and penalties usually stay active for one full round.

Also note that you cannot make an AoO while using Total Defense.
