I just wanted to publicly say that this is really excellent work, and many congratulations to all involved. Even apart from the price I think I'll get more value out of this than any of the classbooks!

If you ever decide to produce a 2nd edition there is one thing that I can think of that might improve it even more (could it be possible?!?).

If you gave some idea of assigning challenge ratings to some of the activities. I'm not suggesting that every nights drinking could result in xps (!), but winning a regional poker tournament? A duel of wits when a nobles favour is on the line?

I'll make up my own things at present, of course, but I'm just offering this as a suggestion of something that might be worth considering if you ever revise it.

Well, then you're in luck, because Mystic Eye Games has agreed to publish a print version of Tournaments, Fairs, & Taverns. I'm currently working on editing the original version to streamline it, and we're hoping to add in new material if we have the room. I hadn't actually considered trying to assign challenge ratings for these types of competitions, but I'll see what I can do.

If you can't add the CRs to the actual product, I think it would make a good web addition.
