[Trailblazer] Any difference between the PDF and book?

According to Amazon, the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Trailblazer-New-Horizons-3-5-Roleplaying/dp/1449503608"]Trailblazer book[/ame] is 190 pages, whereas the PDF is 157. For those that have both, or are "in the know," which of the following is correct?

1) Amazon mistake.
2) Badaxe reformatted the book, filling out the page count.
3) The book is expanded from the PDF.

I'm guessing it is #1, but I wanted to make sure.

Thanks!

I'm sure Wulf will chime in soon on the full reasons, but my understanding is that it's partly #2, partly #3. Also, the PDF is probably updated now so that it matches the book, so if you already have it the changes will be reflected there.

Ah here's some info from the Bad Axe forum:

GlassJaw and I are working today to make sure that all errata, comments, and clarifications are up to date, and Brad has cleared the decks for his own final push. (If I'm reading him correctly, he sent his wife and kids into exile so that he could finish!)

Looking at the results here, it will be worth the wait. The print version is literally unrecognizable (in a good way) compared to the PDF version; there are roughly 20 pages of new content (some of the "Adventuring" advice from the SRD) and lots and lots of clarifications-- many of which we have you folks to thank for.

And of course Brad's much-needed and much-appreciated expertise so that it doesn't look like a monkey (that would be me...) did the layout.

OK, thanks! And damn! I had just printed the whole original PDF out--something I rarely do--and now I figure this out! Back to the drawing board, i guess! ;)

I forgot to update the product info at RPGnow with the new page count (fixed now), but the PDF is current with the same version that went to the printer.

If you bought the PDF from RPGnow, and you're set to receive notifications from them, then you would have been notified when the new version went up (and can download it for free).

If the PDF that you have is only 157 pages-- and more specifically, if it has a white background as opposed to a greyscale image of a map-- then you have the original version of the PDF. You'll be missing errata and some "Trailblazed" SRD content (dungeons, wilderness, weather).

Oh didn't see that it was available at Amazon, in my cart as promised (thanks again for the free PDF)

Looking forward to reading it in the flesh, some PDFs like this are just not good enough on my eReader :)

I just received my print version from amazon today!!!!

So much easier on the eyes reading it in print form.

Thanks for all the hard work on this, Wulf!

I have the 157 page version. When I go to the rpgnow Trailblazer page, it says "YOU HAVE PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT." However, when I try to download it I am prompted to pay another $4.95.

Mercurius, how exactly did you download the updated version? Did you pay again?
