[Trailblazer] Any difference between the PDF and book?

I have the 157 page version. When I go to the rpgnow Trailblazer page, it says "YOU HAVE PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT." However, when I try to download it I am prompted to pay another $4.95.

Mercurius, how exactly did you download the updated version? Did you pay again?

You have to click the "My Account" button in the upper-right corner of the page. Once you're there, click the option that says "View all products updated since my last download" (or alternately, click on "View all products I've purchased, with download links" since both will now download the updated version).

I noticed another difference. Earlier tonight, a bug was crawling across my desk. I tried to squash it with the Trailblazer PDF, but I couldn't figure out which button to click on. I'm pretty the book would've been much more user-friendly.

That is totally not the first bit of print feedback I expected to see-- in fact just the opposite!

I actually decided to purchase the game only when I noticed the Amazon.com print version had appeared. Still hasn't arrived but I'd have to really love the chart to buy the PDF (or else invest in a Kindle DX).

I was pleased to see the print version was finally available also. Ordered it last week and it should ship tomorrow hopefully. Redownloaded the PDF and I must say it is a much nicer product, though I kind of wish the PDF would have stayed with the plain white background as it is much cheaper to print.

This is but one of many little arguments I lost with Brad. He calls the shots on graphic design!

Would it be possible to update the PDF so that you could turn off the background when printing? Never played around with that aspect of PDFs to know if it's an easy feature or a pipe dream. Anyway, thanks for the response.
