What does everyone think of the Advanced Players Guide by Paizo? I'm especially droolin' over the Archetype system and seeing if it can be adopted to Trailblazer.

I haven't seen it. Can you elaborate on it at all?

The archetypes are basically a series of (usually three or so) alternate class abilities - each is made for a specific class, and each archetype's alternate class abilities have a specific class ability that they replace. You must take all of the alternate class abilities of a given archetype; you can't pick and choose. You can take multiple archetypes, so long as none of their alternate class abilities replace the same basic ability.

Just started a PF game today as a Serpent Shaman druid with the Charm domain. Not terribly "optimized", but looks to be a lot of fun.

The GM isn't using Trailblazer, though, so not much more I can offer there. I only use Trailblazer for iterative attack mods and action points, not anything dealing with class abilities, so I pretty much use the APG as-is.

Not even for Action Points? Trailblazer has so much more variety (and useful options) than D&D or Pathfinder.
