[Trailer] The Incredible Hulk

Hmm... looks alright. But it certainly hasn't wowed me in the same way Iron Man and The Dark Knight have. Still, I'll see this, if only to see what Norton does as Bruce Banner (and IMO is a much better choice for the part than Eric Bana, who I thought was alright).

Cripe...the Hulk looks freakin' terrible, plus I can barely make out what is being said with the loud music in the background.

I hope that is just a trailer thing and it won't be like that in the whole, which is what made the last one so terrible for me.

To me, that was it's biggest failing. I actually think I could have liked the film but the frequent paneling served only to remind me 'Dude, you're watching a movie'. It totally killed the immersion. Every time. It's a cute gimmick and it worked great on The Electric Company, but c'mon, I was like, six then.

IIt looks like the new Hulk movie has what Ang Lee's Hulk movie desperately needed: A super villain that would physically go toe to toe with the Hulk

Hulk 2 Plot Synopsis

Bruce Banner angst over his condition and desperate to get rid of the 'curse'
General Ross hunts Banner/Hulk

Hulk gets mad -Abomination hurt Hulk - Hulk smash

Massive Collateral Damage

Snore
*********************

Okay I like the Hulk as a character but quite frankly he has faced some of the stoopidest 'villains' in thehistory of comics - Zxxzyxx anyone?

I think that Ang Lee did a decent job of giving us a movie about a 'misunderstood monster' and the villains he used (Hulks Dad and Absorbing Man) where those who were 1. Not TOO stoopid 2. Not an excuse for Wrestlefest.

Lets face it no one goes to see the Hulk to watch the trials and tribulations of Dr Bruce, they go to see the Hulk Smash and Ang Lee allowed him to Hulk Smash without having to resort to two monsters wrestling which Hulk 2 looks to be...

Hulk SMASH!

It was fun to watch the trailer pull something out of the Ultimates -- iirc, when Banner can't summon the Hulk, they lose their patience and push him out of a helicopter. They figure he'll change on the way down.

I"m a minority when I say that Hulk the First was a awesome movie for just how much fun it was to watch, and I liked how they did Absorbing Man and the SFX were great.

I'm also looking forward to this one, and I didn't think any of the CGI was bad for either Abomination or Incredible Hulk the Second, and I think this movie will be a good movie also.

Yep. I was greatly amused by that scene.

It seems that the current crop of Marvel movies are heavily drawing from the Ultimate universe. Which, honestly, is a good idea.

So long as they don't take stuff from the Ultimates vol. 3, it's all good. (As I've said before, Jeph Loeb sucks!)
