Why did it have to be Michael Bay? Also, why doesn't it include the olde "ah-oh-oh-oh-ohohah" transforming sound effect?

Though I too lament the Michael Bay direction. His name has a tangible stink about it.

You guys made me curious about Michael Bay, so I looked him up on imdb. He's done some bad movies, some good movies, and some entertaining (but not good) movies. I give Transformers a 60% chance of being either good or entertaining.
