Here's what I'm looking for. A tool where you input a treasure level, and it spits out the treasure. Or, you input "mundane", "minor", "medium" or "major", and it spits out a [magical] item from the DMG. Possibility of modifying the item database is welcome.
Anyone knows of such a tool?

Here's the one I use...you can configure it to display the name of the book it comes from, as well as select which books you use.

TableSmith is good for your needs.

If someone wants a program fro generating NPC Equipment then NPCEQ is a bit better.
