treasured OOP gaming book

2nd edition Paranoia. I love it!

Gotta agree with PC here -- Paranoia, 2nd ed, is/was fantastic! :)

Yeah, it may be falling apart, but I have all the pages and I still love the game ;)

Dark Matter (what? it is out of print!)- best source book for a setting I've ever read. I wish I'd bought two.

The 2nd Edition Forgotten Realms Adventures hardback book (used to be worth cash, a roommate of mine destroyed the cover of my book- spilled water on it...). Anyway it is still a good read.

The original Traveller booklet- okay it sucks but it is good for nostalgia.

1E Manual of the Planes... In some ways not as good as the 3e one, but there is a certain "catalogue" quality to it.

Dunno if this is out of print but the Usagi Yojimbo Roleplaying Game from Gold Rush Games is small, kinda dorky, but really fun to read, and super fun to play (with the right crowd).

The original Rogues Gallery, for all the wacky write-ups of EGG and company's characters. I have a strange desire to convert them all to 3.5 stats (Erol Otus' swashbuckler will be tricky to do, at that).

Well, that explains a lot. I've wondered for a long time why I seem to be the only one of my friends who has seen one.

Dragon 72 included a combat wheel, though it was more general (and therefore more useful) than the one published by the RPGA by TSR UK. See the Acaeum for details, at http://www.acaeum.com/DDIndexes/MiscPages/Fighting.html

On the OOP front, I still use WotC's The Primal Order and TPO Chessboards all the time, as well as most of my 1e modules. I probably get the most use, however, from the 1983 Greyhawk box set (and the 1980 folio maps, which were better quality), the 1e DMG, and the Dragon CD Rom (since I sold my Dragon collection about 10 years ago).

What is your treasured out-of-print workhorse? What do you crave to see re-printed?

My treasure trove books:

Creative Campaigning
Sages & Specialists
These two books were taken from my library by another player.

Complete Necromancer
Castle Guide
Complete Book of Villains
Of Ships and the Sea
Van Richten's Guide to Vampires
The Planewalkers Handbook
Dungeon Builder's Guidebook
World Builder's Guidebook
Campaign Sourcebook and Catacomb Guide

What I'm hoping will see reprint:
Mystara Campaign Setting (Box Set)
Glantri (Box Set)
Creative Campaigning
Dungeon Builder's Guidebook
World Builder's Guidebook
Campaign Sourcebook and Catacomb Guide

I forgot the reprinted part of the question. Paranoia 2e. An awesome way to pass the evening when you can't run your main game! I sure wish I knew what happened to my copy. Anyone know here to get this? PDF or download? How often does it show up on eBay?

I'm currently using my Mystara settings books, specifically the Northern Reaches & Golden Khan of Ethengar ones. I also use lots of D&D adventures from old White Dwarfs (30-89).

Well, since we're currently running a hybrid campaign that uses Boot Hill rules I'll have to nominate the Boot Hill 2nd Edition game rules from 1979 (plus the 1st Edition DMG, which has the Boot Hill/D&D crossover game rules). One of the best parts of that Boot Hill Edition are detailed specs it has on all of the famous gunslingers, several of which we've used in the campaign thus far.
