What kind of attacks can you make when you use Alter Self to take the form of a Troglodyte? Troglodytes can attack with 2 claws and a bite and have Multiattack as a bonus feat, so that the claws (primary attack) suffer no penalty and the bite (secondary attack) suffers only a -2 penalty. On the one hand, the PHB/SRD says...
1) only one claw or one bite
2) two claws or one bite with no penalty
3) one claw and either a second claw or a bite, with full penalties for two-weapon fighting,
4) all three but with full penalties, counting both claws as the "on-hand" attack and the bite as the "off-hand" attack for determining penalties
5) all three but with full penalties, counting only one claw as "on-hand" and both the other claw and the bite as "off-hand"
6) all three with penalties as per Multiattack, i.e. no penalty to claws and -2 to bite
7) something else entirely
On the other hand (continuing the spell description)You acquire the physical qualities of the new form while retaining your own mind. Physical qualities include natural size, mundane movement capabilities (such as burrowing, climbing, walking, swimming, and flight with wings, to a maximum speed of 120 feet for flying or 60 feet for nonflying movement), natural armor bonus, natural weapons (such as claws, bite, and so on), racial skill bonuses, racial bonus feats, and any gross physical qualities (presence or absence of wings, number of extremities, and so forth).
Assuming a human caster with no iterative attacks based on BAB, which of these accurately reflects how you can attack?A body with extra limbs does not allow you to make more attacks (or more advantageous two-weapon attacks) than normal.
