D&D 5E Troll Lord Games Goes 5e - A0 The Rising Knight -- Adventures for 5th Edition Rules

Wow, a shame but those stat blocks make me cringe. I think the new game's format has moved past this type of presentation. I too like the way Kobold Press and Necromancer Games do them.

Hey folks! Thanks for the good word. We've started converting A1 Assault on Blacktooth Ridge and the Book of Familiars, so we'll have more coming soon. I talked to Jason Vey (author of the conversions) and the stat blocks are easy enough to address. We'll follow 5e style really. No stat blocks unless necessary.

More coming!

Good to hear! 3e's cumbersome stat blocks are one of the things I don't miss about the system...

CnC statblocks are great, but 5e statblocks crammed into CnC layout is horrendous. Glad to hear it will change.

I will pick up blacktooth ridge. Enjoyed that adventure in CnC.

For in-line blocks, Necromancer Games uses a modified 3E layout in its more recent adventures (like Quests of Doom 2).

That layout took a lot of e-mails! :)

Cheers!

That is a MUCH better looking statblock! I like that they dont even bother w ability scores. Just the mod please.
