Troll Lord games - What the heck?!?!?

Enceladus

First Post
Necromancer Games' Vampires and Liches finally ships on Monday. Hot on its heels: Gary Gygax's Living Fantasy (many delays at the printer). Necromancer Games' Lost City of Barakus is at the printer right now as is Path of the Magi. All these books should be hitting your shelves in the next few weeks to a month.

I just ordered the Living Fantasy online, do I have to wait a month for it? I didn't see anything on TLG's site indicating that this wasn't printed. What's going on?

HALLO

Hey,

No worries, we have advance copies of both Vampires and Liches and Living Fantasy in the office (they jumpted the print run and gave me some boxes for the conventions). The first load of Living Fantasy and Vampires and Liches went out Thursday last, and I have another folder full of orders to go out on Monday. So you should have it by Mid week or late week at the absolute latest!

The only book anyone is waiting for is Barakus (because we are doing a special on it, pre-order and get free promotional poster/map)

When I mentioned that Vamps ships Monday and LF later in the week I meant from the printer...but rest rest rest assured that yours is in route.

Hope that helps the confusion.

Steve

Oh it helps much, I can't wait. I've been drooling over this sucker for some time. I also ordered a module and the World Builder from you as well. Well, I didn't a buddy who owed me 70 bucks did. :)

If I came across as angry that wasn't my intent, I've been drooling over this sucker for some time.

Thanks for the response and keep up the great work!

if you think this is interesting

OK, I hate to brag and tout (this is Davis by the by - Steve is off sleeping or some such so I snuck over to his house and am using his account) but if you think the current in the series are good wait until you see what is coming down the pike --

Nation Builder - I am anxiously awaiting the finished manuscript, very very anxious from what I have seen.

Names - without a doubt one of my most looked forward to. It, along with World Builder will sit at the table with me.

Fortresses - unimaginably good and exciting

Seafaring book - !!! by far the best yet.

Anyway - just a taste of what the coming year has in store. It is a gaming Encyclopedia. Chock full of info top to bottom.

I already have a Worldbuilder but I ordered another one for a friend. We call it the Prego of RPG books. If you got a question, "it's in deh!"

That Nation and Fortress books sound kick booty. If its any better than the strongholders guidebook you'll have a devoted customer until the end of time.

Hallo

Enceladus! Your books (WB, Blood Royal and LF) all shipped yesterday. They went out in two packages. I didn't realize what I was doing as I was packing them up. But look for them by weeks end.

Just to give folks the heads up. Usually if an order comes in before 1 or such it goes out the same day ordered (not on weekends obviously), and if it comes in after 1 it goes out next day. We cut a good deal on shipping so everything goes out regular post.

As for what's coming down the pipe, the series really has legs to it and the books are looking good. Nations and Essential Places were supposed to hit the street after Living Fantasy to give the series more structure, but there were problems so Names entered the fray. Its been a little humorous but a little frustrating to read reviews of WB and hear comments like "this book need more flesh to the lists and tables" because I know...OH boy the flesh is a coming folks! Gary is the most prolific (did I spell that right) writer in the industry, bar none.

We also have some real exciting news about with Gygax and other projects coming in the near future. To include Hall of Many Panes boxed set and more...

Thanks all for the compliments!

Steve

Nice job!

Seems like were never there when you win, only when you lose so I thought I'd pop back on to mention that the books arrived in a timely manner and all looks well.

I've not been able to really go in depth and read every detail (no time lately) but what I have had a chance to read is really informative and interesting. The facts are laid down and then related to fantasy. Very well done.

Keep 'em coming!

Speaking of Nation Builder…

I don't know about crunch, I'm not a detail guy, nor will it be 'academically' correct, but it will have meat, and get to the heart of building a nation. The real heart. The land, the people, what's necessary to bring them all together as a unified whole. It's taking longer than I'd thought, but when it's done you'll be able to say, "This guy put his heart into it."
