Blade Rager trolls are just cruel it takes you forever to finally get the thing down and keep it down and then it goes and explodes on yeah most likey ripping through the guy in your party capable of keeping the trolls on the ground. Cruel and a fun suprise.

And don't miss the cave troll, the mountain troll, the ice troll.....and the war troll in MMIII IIRC.

That did sound like an arduous battle, though you can't use Alchemist Fire to Cou de Gras a downed Troll.

There are already Trolls like that. Bladerager Trolls, MMV. (The living bomb part.)

Wow, you're right about the CdG thing. It specifically says "bows and crossbows can be used, too" where I always thought "ranged weapons" instead. Hmm, it would have been cruel to disallow anyway...

Only recently got MMV, too. Have to take a look at the Bladerager!

And then woe be you if you has a Psion Telepath or a Mindspy or anything similar in your party.

Feadin: War Trolls are the nastiest out of every printed breed of Troll. They're smart, pretty unkillable naturally and are the beginning source material of the Emerald Legion.
