Meh, there were worse stories about that. I like Leto as an actor, not so much as a musician, and even less so as a general person.

-I didn't watch Tron: Uprising, so I can't really say how important he was to those events.

Tron: Uprising was basically just Tron Beyond, a Batman Beyond version of Tron. Tron was a damaged program who couldn't fulfill his mission anymore so he offered his advice and training to a rebellious punk of a young adult who takes on the mantle of Tron while maintaining his secret identity. Given that Tron: Uprising was supposed to take place between Tron and Tron Legacy, I guess it's pretty safe to assume that the fake Tron failed pretty horribly and real Tron was captured.
