OK, there was some really, really bad acting again by the vamps. That opening scene was just pure schlock melodrama.

"It's your own fault--you and your affection for stupid cattle...."

"I fulfilled the conditions of my sentence. I murdered this innocent girl...."

"I find myself doubting whether you were ever truly human."

"Thank you!"

"DAMN YOU!"

And then later we get more of Eric trying to be the biggest poseur in a TV series since, uh....anybody.

Just such a weird change in writing when it switches from vamp to human conversation. It's weird that the humans with their petty issues seem much less banal than the imoortals.

I thought it was kinda funny. You're immortal and now you've got.. woman trouble. In undeath as in life.

This is why vampires should date humans. Eventually the human will die, if a vampire dates another vampire those relationship problems will also be immortal.
