True Seeing Conundrum

One of my PCs went to the restroom during the dinner and cast true seeing as he thought something was controlling her and wanted to see if was in the room. Needless to say he freaked when he came back out. Had to make all kinds of checks (failing most) to hide his reaction. Was great. Honestly I was happy he did it... made it WAY more fun to DM.

In the end the robe does not do what you thought... but don’t think the PCs wont do something else to make things go bad... and you should let them. That is what good DMing is all about.

And, FWIW, I hate this kind of cliche....and I use it often.
