The DC to cast color pattern should be 31 (15, +12 cone range, +4 rounds)
The DC to cast blinding pattern should be 51 (15, +12 cone range, +4 rounds, +20 blindness)
The DC to caost potent pattern should be 71 (15, +12 cone range, +4 round, +40 unconsciousness)

Interesting, that contradicts the Errata. =/ It has you paying for Range and Area of Effect, which is what I remember JohnSnow reporting after working with them on the Errata and asking that specific question. Again, its been a while so I may be remembering wrong, but I'm not sure I am. I like Range being the point it originates much better, its how I originally ran it, and I remember specifically thinking "Wow, that's definitely not nearly as cool." When hearing that it wasn't that way.

EDIT: Clarification- When I say "it wasn't that way" I meant that in order to have a 60 foot lightning bolt you need 60 feet of Line and 60 feet of Range, due to the description of Range (pg21? 22? somewhere) stating that any area of effect beyond the range is wasted. So you could originate that lightning bolt 30 feet away from you but you'd waste 30 feet if you didn't scale back the augment, it doesn't go for 60 feet from 30 feet away. It only goes 30 cuz you only bought Range for 60.

Interesting, that contradicts the Errata.

I'd tend to go with RJS on this one... Especially since the Errata still flubs Sense Animals (they include the bonus for increasing range, but not the bonus for increasing cone area), and completely ignores Speak With Animals and Energy Cone.
