True20 Open Call

Urizen

First Post
I'm holding an open call to anyone interested in Paid work developing new, exciting supplements for the True20 system!

Payment will be negotiable based on experience.

Now, obviously I have my own ideas about supplements I want to release. But I definately want to tailor these releases to what YOU want, so I can avoid putting out useless gaming material. I want to develop a reputation for providing True20 gamers with products they want. I want to make products that add depth and excitement to the true20 game system, not products that create a glut, like we've seen in the D20 market.

Keep in mind, I'm not interested in Products that conflict with existing Green Ronin products or products that mess with other Companies. For example, I don't want to do something that messes with Land of the Crane of Agents of Oblivion.

So, that said, what do YOU want to see?
Would you like setting material?
Would you like to see supplements for specific sub-genres of the game, e.g Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror? Modern supplements?

Here's a very rough outline of my initial ideas for gaming supplements:

1. Hardwired 2042 ( A dystopic cyberpunk setting: In development, Written By David S. Gallant.)
2. Fantasy game supplement.
3. Espionage Supplement 1.
4. Science Fiction/ Space Supplement
5. Adventure Pack 1.
6. Alien Invasion Conversion (Maybe)

All thoughts, suggestions, ideas are welcome.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I'll throw this one out there. I really want to see a point buy system, similar to Mutants and Masterminds based on Fantasy roleplaying. I thought that's what True20 was when I first picked it up, so the actual system came as a surprise. (Afraid I've got too much on the plate to actually consider writing such a project though.)

Thanks so much for your feedback Mark,

Have you purchased the True20 companion?

The companion has a point-buy system for building new heroic roles, if that is what you are referring to.

If you are thinking of something else entirely, please, by all means, send along some ideas/notes. I'll definitely do the research on the project and write it up. If it turns out to be smaller than I would like to produce as a purchasable product, I'll offer it as a free download avaliable on my website.

I don't want to put out really small pdfs. I want to make the most of the license and give people to most value for their dollar.

Thanks again for the feedback!

No, I haven't picked up the companion. I'll have to look into that book! I stopped after getting the core book, focusing instead on Mutants and Mastermind stuff.

I'm looking for a publisher for my fantasy campaign setting. Should I send it directly the address listed on your website, or through here?

Hey, Davy,

Long time, no see, my friend. Umm, a personal suggestion here: the default colors for this board is white text on a black background. The dark navy color doesn't show up very well at all, and so your post was hard to read.

I would definitely encourage you to try using the defaults, if you can.

With Regards,
Flynn

Hi There, I'm sorry about the delay in responding, I've been terribly busy as of late.

Please send a query letter it to my email address:
